PROJECT MANAGER – HAVANT
Trant Engineering are recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee clean water & wastewater projects to be based in Havant, working on the Southern Water framework.
Trant is a successful Civil Engineering EPC delivering complex turnkey engineering projects in sectors such as Process & Water, Energy, Defence, Oil & Gas and Nuclear.
We have over 800 employees and with a healthy forward order book with a projected turnover of £180m this year, it is an exciting time to join the business.
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee clean water & wastewater projects in the Southern Water region. This area covers Hampshire, West & East Sussex and Kent. The Project Manager will have a background in either Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering but should have an understanding of all disciplines and must have a background in delivering water or wastewater projects. This role involves being based at the Havant office with regular visits to the sites under your control. It may be that you are currently working as a Project Manager or perhaps you are a Senior Site Manager seeking to take the next step in your career. Either way, you will have an excellent technical ability in this sector and be a strong manager of people, possessing the ability to get the most out of your team.
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, duties include but are not limited to;
·Overseeing 2/3 projects at any one time
·Ensuring project delivery within program & budget
·Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
·Client interface
·Management of subcontractors
·Progress reporting
Qualifications
·HND/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering OR by experience
·CSCS
·SMSTS
