Job Description
Our client one of the UK's leading Highways Contractor are looking for a Contract Support Engineer, client is Cambridgeshire/East of England based,
Responsibilities:
* Vast knowledge in Highways / Civils, Drainage
* Must be conversant with CDM / Principal Contractor duties and understanding of National Highway specifications and expectations
* Preferably from a multidisciplinary background – Highways / Civils, Drainage, Earthworks, Road Construction etc
* QA/QC teams to develop processes, test procedures and implement systems that ensure the products and processes fulfil quality standards
* Produce and review permits to break ground to a high-quality standard
* Ensuring ITP quality checks are in place and frequent reviews are carried out
Qualifications / Experience
* HNC / HND or equivalent in a Construction / Civil Engineering discipline
* Technical background in Highways / Civils / Drainage / Construction
* CSCS Card holder
* ISO 9001
* Technical QA/QC experience
