Job Interview Questions for Administrative Assistant

If you have got an interview for an Administrative Assistant coming up then start by doing your research thoroughly into the role and the company. Start by looking at your skills and how your experience matches up to the job role/job description that the company are looking for someone to do.

Then once you are confident that you can do the role well then you can focus on the company itself and what you know about them and research this well as it shows that you have taken a good interest into their business. You are bound to be asked questions about the company, what you know etc so it is important to be able to answer this confidently when you are asked.

An Administrative Assistant is a very organised and thorough person who is able to multi task and juggle many different roles at once. This role could be combined with a reception type role where you are meeting and greeting visitors into the business so you will need to have a confident nature and excellent communication skills.

Because this is a mixed role and you could be party to a lot of information in this role, your interviewer will be keen to know that they can trust you with sensitive business information and that you will not be telling half of the office what you have seen and been involved in.

During your interview you will need to demonstrate your good communication skills so it would be useful to think of examples of when you have to use these skills in a business sense.
