Role: Master PSV Technician / Engineer

Your main duties and responsibilities as a Master PSV Technician will be:

To be mobile, carrying out diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs on new and old technologies throughout the operating region.
Provide efficient fault finding and diagnostic repair to deliver optimum vehicle reliability.
Collaborate with other Master Technicians across the UK to deliver continuous improvement in fleet reliability.
Be a "Go to" resource to support depots with more complex repair and maintenance issues.
Ensure any repairs are legally compliant.
Support depots in achieving your regions KPI's, e.g. reduce lost mileage, achieve high levels of reliability, and make run out every day.
Knowledge share and support any training throughout the depots.
Attend and support engineering training along with Apprentice development.
Work on a rotating shift pattern .
The successful candidate for our Master PSV Technician – role will have the following skills & experience:

Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification (Or equivalent).
Extensive knowledge of PSV or HGV repair and maintenance.
Qualifications / experience in the use of Volvo Tech Tool, Cummins Insite, Jaltest, Mercedes SD Connect, MANcat (Desirable but ongoing training will be provided)
Minimum of two years' experience following apprentice period, 3 years preferred.
An excellent knowledge of DVSA requirements
Full PCV license is desirable but gaining your license can be part of your training.
Working in a mobile environment a flexible approach to working times is essential.
You will need a proven ability to work effectively within a team but also comfortable working on your own with minimal supervision.
You must be analytical and a problem solver
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently.
