Amour Recruitment is pleased to be working alongside a leading insurance company, based in Cardiff, looking for Broker Support Agent to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the insurance proposition target market by market regular contact with existing and potential broke customers and be confident at initiating conversation, building rapport, and maintaining relationships. The role will involve a high volume of outbound calls to an established broke base, but also offer support to brokers with inbound queries.
This role is working Monday to Friday full time hours, with the salary being £23,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
* Pro-active manage a panel of brokers working closely with the Regional Sales Manager.
* Support the growth of the panel by increasing activity within that region.
* Complete outbound priority calls, i.e. Masterclass prior/post calls, Network lists, Pipeline calls.
* Del with any commission or rewards queries.
* Deal with any general queries relating to how Source works with brokers and policyholders.
* Prospect for new accounts within all regions.
* Take responsibility for outbound campaign management.
* Provide cover within the team as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Excellent knowledge of the General Insurance (GI) market.
* Experience of managing relationships with brokers.
* Proven knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations, market trends and mortgage distributions.
* Knowledge and understanding of distributor business models, technology, and commercial drivers.
* An understanding of issues and opportunities facing the industry.
* Planning and organisational skills.
* Interpersonal and communication skills.
* Inspire, trust, respect, and loyalty.
* Motivation and a self-starter.
