There is no right or wrong answers so all you have to do is be yourself. That doesn't mean you can say everything you like though. Employers are trying to find out what you are good at and no good at. Your answers will reveal your strengths and weakness.
So another question you might is what do you love to do in your spare time so this is a question about you and it's time to talk about things with energy and passion because interest should be interesting so think about the tone of voice think about your body language and think about what your interests are actually saying about you there might be some interests that you mocking to talk about than others so it could be all the things that you've done in terms of the sporting arena maybe prize is that you've won competitions that you've won but think about do they really thrill and excite you because if I don't throw and excite you they're not going to thrill and excite the interviewer.
One of the most asked interview question is "what do you like in your free time?".
Here are possible answers:
What do you like to do in your free time?
1 - I run in my free time stay active.
2 - I use my free time to learn new things ie. "I am learning Python in my free time".
3 - I read in my free time.
4 - I use my free time to play my kids.
5 - I travel in my free times.
6 - I see my friends.
7 - I enjoy riding horses in my free time.
8 - I cook in my free times. I'm learning new recipes.
9 - I'm a member of a tennis club and I play tennis in my free times.
10 - I'm interested in learning a new language so I do practice Japanese in my free time.
You can use those options if they are really what you do in your spare time. You shouldn't really tell them unless you are really interested in doping them. These answers will lead your interviewer to a direction.
Do not say:
- "You shouldn't ask me questions about my personal life"
- Don't be boring and spend 10 minutes talking about your whole life.
- Don't turn this question into something else. Interviewer asking this question to see your strengths, interest etc, they are not trying to flirt with you!
- Don't make something up and just tell them what you really do in your free time.
